PM, I have heard so many good comments about this sermon series. Your messages are truly touching lives in Clearwater! I am glad that you included hate in how this applies to the family! The others are physical actions, HATE is the inner part that may or may not be evident in our behavior. It went well with our Sunday school lesson as well as we discussed David and Bathsheba. God is amazing how he weaves things together!!! I am excited about the vision you are casting for FCC in Clearwater! Have a blessed and encouraged week! Luke
ReplyDeleteThanks for being willing to tackle the big subjects and not shy away from what the word of God says about them. It is so refreshing to have a preacher who speaks the truth even when it is not politically correct or popular. This whole series has been great, keep it up!
ReplyDeletePM, I have a question. When does a thought become sin? Since hate may or may not be seen, when do our thoughts become sin, if they are not actions? Luke
ReplyDeleteI am convinced that when I do not allow forgiveness to be extended toward another, and all I can do is hold on to my anger toward another person is sin. The reason is that inwardly, I am wasting away. The heart of Christ cannot hold on to evil. Another way I think thoughts become a sin, is if we wish ill will on another because of something they have done to us or someone close to us.
ReplyDeleteIt is easier to be angry and hate than it is to forgive and work through a problem. (Mike)
